Our Story

For generations, my family owned and operated a "toilerie et literie" store in the picturesque town of Voiron, nestled in the French Alps. The establishment was a testament to my family’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship, serving the local community with dedication and pride. My grandfather was the last to manage the store before its closure, marking the end of an era in our family's history.

Growing up, I was fortunate to experience life on both sides of the Atlantic. From the sun-soaked beaches of California to the historic streets of France, these diverse environments shaped my appreciation for art, culture, and design. This dual heritage instilled in me a unique perspective, blending the relaxed, innovative spirit of California with the timeless elegance of French tradition.

Now, residing in France, I am dedicated to reviving my family's legacy through Maison Richerd. With a passion for interior design, as well as discovering and curating French treasures, I aim to share the beauty and craftsmanship of my French heritage with a wider audience. Each item in Maison Richerd’s collections are thoughtfully selected, in order to beautify your home with French elegance.
